Requirements
- A criminal Record check, and a successful full 5 year Background referencing must be completed before undergoing any security training involving access to information which is not publicly available. In accordance with Regulation EU 2015-1998 - Implementing Regulation
Target audiences
- All workers who require entry to the Security Restricted Area (and therefore require an airside staff permit) must first complete General Security Awareness Training (GSAT)

By Purchasing and/or completing this course you are confirming the following:
You have completed both a background check and a criminal record check as per EU Implementing regulation 2015/1998 required as part of the application process for an airside ID card (airside pass).
I confirm that:
1. My job requires me to have an airside pass.
2. My security background check has been successfully completed.
3. I am aware it is an offence to provide false information in order to gain access to GSAT material.
4. I can confirm that I will be the only person taking this course and will not allow access to the training material to any third parties.
Any form of deliberate malpractice with regards to the dishonest undertaking of the GSAT course will be reported directly to the DFT/CAA who may seek to rectify the incident, if necessary, by any means possible which may result in your certificate being revoked.

This GSAT course will take around 60 minutes to complete, which consists of 5 modules which are clear and simple to follow.
This is followed by an assessment that may be attempted up to 3 times.
On completion, your GSAT certificate can be downloaded instantly, and is valid for 5 years
